Audiometry
If you have hearing difficulties, you can come to Avaz Hearing and Speech Centre and have an Audiometry (Audiogram) test. Audiometry is important for determining the subjective, individual aspects of hearing. Audiometry allows for a completely painless and non-invasive examination of both the bone and the airway in the ear.
In order to perform the audiometry test, a headset is placed in the patient's ear to block external sounds. Sounds at different frequencies are transmitted to the patient's ear and their reactions are measured. For this purpose, the patient is given a small device with a button and is asked to press the button for each sound he/she hears.
